    Pros

    - Friendly, easy-going people
    - Work life balance / Flexibility
    - Good benefits overall
    - Decent middle-market deal experience
    - Fairly stable employer

    Cons

    - No growth or career development if you have the wrong manager ( 4th year analysts, 5 year associates, etc. that actually do a reasonably good job). People at the Director level and some life-time VP's never leave which further compounds the problem
    - Pay is well below comparable companies
    - Poor employee performance is tolerated
    - High turnover
    - Middle management very unhappy

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your middle management who are driving projects to completion and becoming more disengaged each day.

I have been working at CIT

    Pros

Good work life balance. Hours are reasonable.

    Cons

The company is trying to move all it's jobs to JAX Florida. So if you are working in NY or NJ chances are they will not promote you or provide you opportunity for job growth as every new position is moving down to Florida where it is cheaper.

Your employees see what is happening and are moving to cruise control waiting for their packages
