    Toxic!!!

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) New York, NY (US)

ProsCompetitive salaries, summer hours all year round

ConsExecutives act like bullies, disorganized, small company mentality, poor management, do not value employees, limited advancement opportunities, cliquish, very unprofessional, gossip and lies are treated as gospel.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe respectful of your employees, focus on promoting from within, management needs to work on their people skills.

    Would not recommend

    Retail Executive (Current Employee)

ProsGreat benefits, you can learn a lot about business here.

ConsNo home work life balance. No respect for personal time. 15 hour days even when 9 months pregnant. Not a good company for people with families. There is not a lot of room for advancement for field employees. Company is growing but at the detriment to their loyal employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementRespect your employees and their personal time.

So much potential, but terrible place to work

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsHours and holiday schedule are perks.

ConsToxic atmosphere. Open office environment. No forward thinking, just reacting to achieving sales goals for current period with no consideration to the effect on future sales.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe in touch more with the employees who make the company tick, and more than a random town hall meeting. Plan for the future and stick to the plan - don't rearrange launches on items to get the bump in sales now.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

They have lost their way since the senior management changes of a few years ago.

    Manager (Former Employee)

ProsA place to go to get some experience.

ConsPoor management of people and projects. They try to do too much with too little so expect long hours in a noisy office.

Advice to Senior ManagementStart placing the customer and products first, not the dollar.

    Ok, but could be better.

Forklift Operator (Current Employee) Roanoke, VA (US)

ProsSeeing people that I've worked with for years go from temporary jobs to permanent jobs.

ConsSeeing people who just became permanent get jobs over people who have been there longer & some who where already doing those higher paying jobs.

Advice to Senior ManagementWon't do any good. From what I've noticed, if it wasn't "their idea" it's not gonna happen. Now you might see shades of what you said years later. All you can do is just think to yourself, wow now you do that.

    Interesting

Retail Executive (Current Employee) Raleigh, NC (US)

    Prosflexible work environment, great products

Conscompany is very much like a click, either you are in or out

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement really should look at individual performance, not keep employees who they like just because they are in the click. Several hard working people displaced due to not being in the right group, we are not in High School

    Overwork

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsDay goes by fast, with lots of work not enough people

Cons10-14 hour days, no time for home life. Lack of appreciation for hard work, expect more work. Bullies in senior level mgmt. I've heard one senior leader tell an employee that he should be working as a sheep herder. Also heard senior leader tell a working mother to find another way for her children to be picked up at 6:30 pm daycare.

    Advice to Senior ManagementRespect!
