    Pros

Location is great. New office beautiful office with lots of art

    Cons

Lay offs when industry is down. I wish they value their employees more and not just have nice buildings. It's the people who make the company. And if you're not connected with the top management from the past you will not advance

    Pros

Great vision and direction from the CIO, however he is not very engaging with the people and needs to meet and greet people more. Awesome leadership opportunities, but be leery of the politics

    Cons

Request more feedback from management as they do not tell you what they are thinking. People tend to work in silos and there needs to be a better project management system to drive global initiatives.

    Advice to Management

Need more transparency from the top to the bottom. Not everything is crystal clear at times and although communication is constant, the message is not always clear.

    Pros

Large company found in many areas of the US and the world

    Cons

Land department seems to treat their own very badly. All other departments are free of this problem

    Advice to Management

Better Land department management - ones who respect other people and professionals.

    Pros

Great atmosphere, beautiful building, good perks, nice people

    Cons

The "family" feel is dependent on which business unit you are in. Some much better than others. In very busy business units, you can feel isolated and without direction.

    Pros

There are a lot of really great people that work for this company. Work - home balance is a plus. Friendly working environment.

    Cons

It takes threatening to quit to get promotions and raises that are deserved. It can be quite political - it is too often about who you are buddies with than what you are capable of. It is very hard for the administrative staff to climb the latter because there are limited opportunities for growth. Noble's worst problem is their inability to handle conflict - they don't know how to fire people. I knew many managers who were noncompliant with the ethics and they still kept them around. (and that is putting it nicely.) Instead of eliminating the problems, they just move them around to make them someone else's problem. It creates a huge morale issue.

    Advice to Management

Learn to get rid of real problems - let go of people who need to be let go. Provide more opportunities for Administrative/clerical staff to move upward. Importantly, hiring from within more will allow these opportunities for growth.

    Pros

Wonderful people to work with. Project teams are very supportive and knowledgable. Great benefits..both benefit package and benefits at work (like gym in the office).

    Cons

Limited room for advancement. Managers seem to make promises that they cannot keep. Executive Management is not involved and seems clueless. Nothing comes from the top down. Everything is from middle management out. Lack of communication between departments creates silos and multiple people working on same initiative in parallel. They need to wake up that they are no longer a mom and pop shop from Ardmore Oklahoma.

    Advice to Management

Be honest with employees. The minute you find out you can't keep a promise, tell the employees. Create better work life balance. A few people seem to do all the work. Respect people's talents and don't preach you want out of the box thinking while you confine individuals to a mold. Stop talking about how the company has no money...get rid of the biggest money waster-GAP!
