I worked at Sutherland Global Services full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Higher wage than most
Some managers really great and really care
Nearly all coaches / team leads sincerely care
As I will acknowledge below, I WILL recommend this job, but watch your back and speak up when you feel the need. Know your rights.

    Cons

    Frequent tool issues, crashes
Some managers leave a lot to be desired, inconsistent
VERY inconsistent with company policy, including attendance guidelines, metrics
    High turnover rate
They hire under qualified people now
Over the 3 1/2 years I was there I / we progressively were made to do more work / support more departments as they were phased out

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Remember who you are and where you started. (It's the higher up managers who show their true sides.) The main manager who I was under was GREAT!

Good job with employment, probably not the best career due to small raises.

I worked at Sutherland Global Services full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You work from home, you can communicate with coaches and managers through a messenger. This is a good job for call center or work from home type experience. It's also good experience for technical support.

    Cons

Unless you are very consistent with attendance or perform extremely well, the raises seem to be quite minimal. I would prefer something with potential growth, and there's not much room for advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would ask for larger raises etc.

I worked at Sutherland Global Services full-time

    Pros

The ability to work from home was definitely a pro. There was also good support available in the event that a customer had a question that you didn't know the answer to. Generally I enjoyed the work, just not the culture.

    Cons

No matter how hard I tried, it seemed that I kept getting stuck with the late shift. Unfortunately this did not fit into my life well, so I was forced to move on.

I have been working at Sutherland Global Services part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Its a paycheck, Hmmm let me think

    Cons

Be honest when hiring employees, fix your systems.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When hiring in employees be honest with them, Do no tell them it is not a selling job . then demand the sales- stand up to your client base, you say you are all about customer satisfactionr- how about employee satisfaction as well? When a customer says no drop it- how would you feel if it was done to you? You are piling too much stress on our tech agents- this why you have such a high turn over
