I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (London, England) in Dec 2010
Interview
Got a call from a recruiter for this position. Interview consisted of first level technical interview over the phone , followed by in person Case study presentation , Sr. Executive interview and then HR Interview.
Telephonic interview - Was asked to run through the career highlights, and previous projects. There were specific questions asked about the projects wrt team size, technlogies, and how I was able to add value to the project. Also asked about the size of the projects handled and if I was able to grow the business for the company. Extremely good experience as the interviewer kept it in a discussion mode than interrogative mode. The result of this interview was conveyed exactly on 10th day from the interview date.
The next level was an in person half day activity that consisted of a Case Study presentation, Sr. Executive Interview and followed by the HR Interview.
Case Study - It was a pretty basic case study, was asked to find issues, and resolution techniques. Used simple management models (SWOT analysis etc) to answer and present the findings.
Sr. Executive Interview - This was all about behavioural interview (competency based). Lot of questions to describe situations e.g. Under tight deadlines, handling difficult colleague, resolving conflicts etc. Used STAR technique to answer these questions. Again excellent experience and felt nice to meet and learn from the Sr. Exec. about ACN culture.
Last HR Interview - This was again Competency based and similar questions asked about various situations in professional life. second half of the interview focussed on my current role, management skills, and overall experience predominantly to see where do I fit into the organisation in terms of Bands/Grades.
Again exactly on 10th day after this process, I was informed about the decision that ACN would like to make an offer and received the offer letter.
Overall the best interviewing process (I have not attended many interview in my life, still I guess this was the best managed recruiting process in Industry)

I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Accenture (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Oct 2024
Interview
The interview was good. Done on campus. 2 rounds. One with Sr. Consultant. Another with MD. More conversational and less on the technical Q&A front, gauging the breadth and depth of functional expertise. I was further asked for a Guestimate and a GTM strategy in the 1st Round.
