Poor communication, the process is spread throughout all the MBA's, so there are many people dealing with your case and no one point of contact. The process is also quite lengthy for that reason. The interviews themselves are interesting and engaging, and not too tricky.

    Interview Details

I had a first round interview, followed by a case, and was then flown down for a day of interviews and social activities. Throughout the process, the interviewers were friendly and asked interesting questions. They all clearly wanted to assess my ability to think through problems, whether the scenario was airline industry based or a random topic.

I applied through college or university. The process took a day - interviewed at American Airlines in November 2009.

    Interview Details

It was a standard interview process with the interviewer going through a list of questions and taking notes after every answer. I got the feeling that they were quite experienced with the process as they had a standard set of instructions to the candidate. They were interviewing a lot of candidates and they said that the process would take 2 months. The structure of the interview was clearly laid out with details about next steps provided.
