Interview Details There is no interview as such. One needs to apply to the Graduate School with GRE and TOEFL/IELTS scores. The admission depends upon the academic background, relevant skills and prior research experience. Luck play a role here as well. The professor should have a vacancy in his/her group and availability of funds is crucial!

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Durham, NC (US) Sep 2009 – Reviewed Jan 20, 2013
Interview Details The interview process was straightforward, much the same, if not a tad less competitive than for similar positions at Ivy League schools (I interviewed and obtained a job at Yale as well). If you're sharp, and present yourself well, you'll get in. You have to be teachable for this job. Communicate that, somehow. If you lack experience, don't try to schmooze your way around that. There are plenty of labs around campus that can give you the experience you need. Don't make up anything/stretch things, and you'll do well. You'll be in there working with very bright/capable graduate students and post-docs. Look the part, act the part.

Interview Details Duke PhD recruiting is different from other graduate programs. Doesn't matter how qualified you are, they match you with a professor... if there's no match, you won't get in. If you get the interview (campus visit), you're basically already in.
Interview Question – It depends on the faculty member... Answer Question
No Offer – Interviewed in Durham, NC (US) Apr 2012 – Reviewed May 02, 2012
Interview Details Process was very formal and e-mail based. I learn of about the job through email. Employer requested references and we exchanged several emails before the interview. There was only one interview. Advice I would give is to think about how the job relates to your past and your future plans.
