Interview Details Competencies based interview. Prior to interview, candidates take a Watson Glazer test for comprehension. If passed then two stage interview. First was focused on technical abilities whilst second was regarding values and culture fit. Good quality interview, made to feel at ease, but still asked searching questions.

Interview Details
Had an interview with two senior executives in EY's London Bridge office. I was told by my HR contact that it's gonna be a 'strength-based' and technical interview, for which I NEEDED NOT to prepare anything for. On the day of my interview I arrived at the company building and was nicely invited to take a seat in the waiting area until my interviewer picks me up to go to one of the meeting rooms. To be honest I was shocked when the interviewers started asking me questions as they were so much different to the typical 'strength-based interviewer questions' that I researched and prepared for before the interview. The questions they asked me were rather competency-based (well perhaps they assessed my answers in a strength-based way who knows) such as giving them an example when I worked with a person I don't like; my best experience of working in a team etc. The technical part was alright although I couldn't answer fluently quite a few of the questions. The overall atmosphere of the interview was rather relaxing and both of the interviewers were very nice and smiles constantly.
Duration of the entire process from CV submission to feedback of interview (first stage) result is 50 calendar days.

Interview Details I was contacted by a recruiter. Following the registering of my interest I had both a phone interview with a director and a face to face interview with another director. The whole process lasted about three months. Both interviews went well and I was offered the job on the day.

I had good meetings during my interview process.
I was interviewed for a role, but when I received my offer letter, the role mentioned was 1 rung below what I had applied for. The Recruiter told me not to worry and that I would get my promotion in the 1st appraisal that was due in 6 months. When I actually started work, I realized that I was at least 2 rungs below the original role

Negotiation Details – The only thing I was put off by was the 'ridiculous haggling' that the hiring manager indulged in. She gave some very strange arguments as to why she thought I could not be paid what I was asking for and that my current salary was as it is above market standards...etc. I still joined the company thinking that there would be a market correction someday but that never happened.

Interview Details
The application process is very straightforward (at least for UK). After submitting an online application you will be invited to sit an online test. This is typical numerical and verbal reasoning. If you pass this stage a phone interview will follow. In my case, we talked for more than an hour and it was pretty relaxed. Questions where typical competency style, e.g. give me an example of time when you showed.... leadership, etc. Just know your CV, know your strenghts and weaknesses, and make sure you know what are the requirements for you position so that you can tailor your answer.
If you pass the interview, you will be invited to an assessment center. Here I was out into a group with 5 other applicants. Note that I was the only one in the room applying for my position, and I believe it was the same for the rest of the group. The day consisted of several parts. First you had to re- take the online test, there and then in front of the people. This was followed by a discussion on a case that we were given a week prior to the interview. For us the topic was "Virtual Teamwork and its benefits". In addition, there were two real life scenarios we had to go through. First one was a telephone conversation with your manager about a team member that is not performing very well on your project. The second one was an E-tray exercise, sorting out emails, writing a report.
The very final stage you need to pass is an interview with a senior manager. In my case this seemed to more just a formality than an actual screening process. It was very relaxed, with questions like, why do you want to join this department, why have you chosen this city to join, where do you see yourself in couple of years, etc.
Overall, I did not find the application process extremely difficult, and I have to say it was a great experience working with E&Y.

Negotiation Details – There are two summer intern programs, one in the first half of the summer and one in the second. You have some degree of flexibility, if you cannot participate in the rotation that you will be assigned.

Interview Details Process was very drawn out and included 5 interviews from telephonic interview, assessment center to partner interview. Assessment center interviews were well organised and conducted professionally but were done by senior managers so only one level higher than position recruiting for so no real opportunity to engage with very senior management. Assessment center interviews included a case study, overview of experience to date and a group presentation.
Interview Question – Group presentation question was very vague and more of a discussion topic providing no real direction on the outcome required by the candidates. It is important to spend time structuring answer rather than thinking of the first thing that came to mind. Answer Question
