JPMorgan Chase Bank Teller Interview

Posted Nov 27, 2012 1 of 1 people found this helpful

Accepted Offer – Interviewed on Simi Valley, CA (US) Jul 2011 – Reviewed Nov 27, 2012

Interview Details I applied online and didn't receive a call until a couple weeks after I applied. I got the call for an interview with the branch manager as well as the assistant manager. The interview lasted about 45 minutes with typical interview questions about yourself and your experiences and how you would respond to hypothetical situations. Afterwards, the recruiter (not the branch manager), called me and offered me the position and we spoke for about 15 minutes regarding salary, start date, etc. They e-mailed me the offer letter and information about what to do from that point on. I had to do a background check and drug test.

Interview Question – How would you ensure customer confidentiality? They will give you a hypo--if a man comes into the bank in the morning and you see his wife come into the branch later that afternoon, would you mention that her husband was at the bank earlier in the day?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – Hourly wage negotiable; based on past experience.

Other Details - I applied online and the process took 2 weeks.
