MassMutual Financial Advisor interview questions

Video conference explaining the position and then an invitation to interview in person at the office. The in-person interview was a panel interview with multiple team members, including senior advisors or managers. interview panel with multiple current advisors.

Two rounds of interviews with different managers. Both were more personal interviews wanting to approach goals within the industry. The second interview contained more background questions and a few questions specifically pertaining to the business.

Call & in-person interview 2x. Pretty easy, just waited a very long time. Do not think I will be taking the job, but seemed ok for an insurance company in new York

They treated it as a sales pitch on why I should work for them which I wouldn't have minded however it was entirely based on I should work for them because of how much money I would make and the perks I would get if I get a lot of sales. They did not even mention that our goal is to also help the customer that we are working with. They also wanted to know the net worth of the people I know which was an immediate red flag because I'm not sure if they did research on me or not but I have connections to relatively wealthy individuals, families, and companies through friends and family and I am not going to give them all that information right out of the gate. They also mentioned how it is entirely commission based which I hate because it shows that they have no faith in their new hires and only want to take what the new hires bring.

Someone calls you and briefly talks about you and then sets up interview in person . They ask some questions about what you do and ask how it realates to the position tThey let you know about the training process

She emailed me and I set up an interview. Nice woman and we chit chatted and she went over the company and role. Overall I had a good time and great conversation.

there are at least 4 interviews. each on in more detail and with a more senior employee. they go over some important things like what you sell and how you get paid and how to grow you book of business

I was first called by the recruiter. I had my first interview with him. Then I was interviewed by one of the Managing Partners. Went back a few weeks later to speak to the other MP

It was over a zoom call, and I was asked questions by a lady in a very impolite manner. I was also asked to complete work that I could not fit into my schedule immediately before I could even interview with the gentleman offering the position.

The interview was easy because this is a 1099 job, not W2. Basically, they were looking for an insurance sale man/woman. As long as you're articulated enough, you'll get the job.
