Interview Details Meet a recruiter at a career fair and he almost immediately asked for my resume. He actually contacted me after the career fair and asked if I wanted to get together for an informal interview. I meet with him and we talked about the company and what the life of a intern would be. I got the feeling that it would be all sales based and not focused on finance. I did not pursue the internship anymore although I was invited to come back for another interview. They seemed to eager to hire people.
Interview Question – No difficult questions. Answer Question

Interview Details 3 step interviews and last interview is a presentation of yourself to the recruiters. They explain to you in the first interview of what you will be responsible for doing. They let you know that they have one of the best training programs in place. There is a chance to grow and the amount of money you make is based on your performance.
Interview Question – What do you have to offer this company? Answer Question
No Offer – Interviewed in Milwaukee, WI (US) – Reviewed May 30, 2013
Interview Details Received a simple phone call requesting and interview. They were very flexible with the schedule of the interview. I first met with someone in HR and went through fairly standard interview questions. The second step was a tour of the campus with two very knowledgeable peers to the person that would be hired for this position. The tour was somewhat overwhelming when you realize everything that would fall in to the realm of responsibilities for this position. The third step was an interview with the supervisor of this position and another supervisor. Again, this included fairly standard interview questions.
Interview Question – Questions weren't entirely difficult, but the interview was much different than I expected. There was absolutely no small talk. It was all business. All questions were situational type questions asking for examples that were read directly off a piece of paper. While you talk, the interviewers will frantically scribble down notes. I personally expected a much different interview from a company like Northwestern Mutual, and wasn't really prepared for this type of interview. All in all, it seems like a great company with great perks, but unfortunately, I just wasn't on top of my game. Be prepared! Answer Question

Negotiation Details – There is no salary so no negotiation phase
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Durham, NC (US) Apr 2013 – Reviewed May 28, 2013
Interview Details Three separate interviews, first one they didn't even ask for a cover letter or resume. Asked for me to give them three potential interns, as if their recruiting just wasn't finding enough people. Second interview was in person, but still didn't even go over a resume. Before getting paid anything, you have to get licensed to sell life and health insurance, and pay to take these tests along with getting fingerprinted twice, and get a copy of your permanent record, all of which you have to pay for out of pocket. The actual Internship consists of cold calling "contacts" and trying to badger them into buying your product. Overall, not an enjoyable internship.
Interview Question – Did not ask any difficult questions, they seemed almost desperate to hire as many college interns as possible Answer Question
Negotiation Details – They offered me a contract, and i told them I wanted to take some time to think about it. It was a backup plan for me, that I fortunately did not need.
Pros: The culture is great! Love the opportunities that I have had with this company. I have had an opportunity to grow in knowledge and experience. Great opportunities for self-improvement and gaining knowledge of the Financial Services Industry. – Full Review `
