I submitted application online back in February.
I got a call from the hiring manager sometime in April.
After 3 weeks a face to face interview with the Department Manager
After 3 days I got the job offer.
Most questions are common. The interview was basically to test if your personality is a perfect fit for the environment.
Negotiation Details – Offer was so much more than what I expected so I dont need to negotiate.

Interview Details Got interviewed by phone and lastly I had to interview myself....yes interview myself. They use Montage interview system. With this system you login from your home and they show you the questions on screen. While the questions are on screen they record your answer with a webcam. It was a pretty horrible experience overall because you are talking to yourself with no feedback from the recruiting team from Pearson since it is a recorded video you are sending to them.

before onsite interview I pass a skype interview, in which I was asked 3 questions about coding, 2 are simple and regular coding problems: like turning an input number, for example, 12345 (int) into 54321. The third question is about SQL coding. very simple and basic.
On the onsite interview, just talked about the research work I have done and some activities in the past. very relax.

Interview Details
I endured a long interview process at Pearson. Things began with a 15-minute phone interview with the district manager, who asked me to come meet with him in person the following day. In that second interview, we walked through my resume and I shared more about my work experience and background with him. He pressed me on why I wanted to go into sales, which I hadn't been involved in before.
That night, the manager emailed me to ask me to meet with a VP the following day. So in round three, I met with the VP and manager together, and the interview consisted of a lot of softball questions - tell me about a time when... how would you handle... etc. Because the manager liked me, it seemed that the VP was receptive to my candidacy as well.
The next week, I was asked to meet with the current AE, and she and I got along very well. Rather than a formal interview, we met at a restaurant and had a conversation in which she gave me tips about how to do the job well and what she had learned doing it over the last decade. She told me that I was her top pick for the job and gave me a positive review.
The manager called and told me to sharpen my sales knowledge. He told me to read two books, which I did in detail, and to create plans for the way I would tackle the sales territory. Not knowing how or when this would be needed, I put in several days of intense work to prepare.
Finally, later that week, I was asked to participate in a 30-minute phone interview with HR. This was the most confusing part. I had no idea why I would need to run through my resume with HR when I'd already done so with the manager and VP. The person conducting the interview was hard to read over the phone.
After a week of not hearing back from anyone at Pearson, I was asked to attend an industry event as the probable new AE. Told I was the "lead candidate," I did so, shook a lot of hands, and smiled as wide as I could. Imagine my disappointment upon hearing that the position was filled by an internal candidate.

....asked to sell something, asked a lot of questions about my resume and situational questions about things I've done in past jobs...
4. Asked to do a Campus Project, was given 3 business days and involved going to a campus and interviewing several chairs and professors and then creating a blog to summarize all of my findings.
5. Asked to do an analysis project where I was given data sets to analyze and created PowerPoint to break it down and make recommendations...
6. Skype interview with Regional Manager (40 minutes)
....same type of questions as in the last...
7. Phone Interview V.P. of Training (20 minutes)
8. In-person interview out of state with Regional Manager (1 hour 15 minutes)
9. Skype interview with Vice President of Sales
Interview Question – The projects were time consuming and so very difficult since I have a job already right now... Questions were really not that difficult -- most revolved around past work experiences. But be prepared to "Sale" them something. Whether it be something on the table in an early interview or an actual Pearson product in the later interviews. Know why you want to work with the company and be convincing in why you would be good at it and how you have the skills and drive required to succeed. Answer Question
