Interview Details Applied online, got to schedule an interview the same day because I was referred by a good salesman and the assistant store manager was working and evaluated my application right when I was finished. Had two interviews, one was simple and the other with questions that were expected. This is my first job and during the interview the manager was understanding and really listened to my answers even though they were related to my experiences as a leader in band during high school.
Interview Question – Where do you see yourself in our company in 5 years if we hire you Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I did not try to negotiate, starting pay is 10.25 and I liked the job I was signed up for

Interview Details It was actually pretty easy. There will be some personal questions about times in your life. For example, they might ask you a time when you struggled, and how you overcame it. They'll also tell you a lot of stuff about the job and how it works, and then basically expect you to regurgitate the information, so pay close attention.
Interview Question – Just generally remembering what they said on the spot. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – There was no negotiation, you just accept the offer they give you. For me, it was minimum wage to start, then $6 base pay plus commission after a month. Make sure they actually start paying you commission. Don't let them hold it back from you or force you to give it to somebody else.

I initially applied online through my university job bank. After a month I was contacted by phone and had an initial phone screening interview. Questions were relatively straightforward, why are you interested in Sears? why did you choose your degree? What are your strengths and weaknesses? They then arranged to conduct a skill test online at a later date.
The Skill test was quite straightforward. You have an hour to complete some easy math questions as well as some logic and grammar questions.
A few days after submitting this, I was invited to the Sears headquarters for an in-person interview. This consisted of 2 back-to-back two person panel interviews. Questions were behavioural and analytical, and there were some unexpected questions as well.
After this interview, I never heard back from them again. I contacted the HR rep that had messaged me, but she said that she did not have any further information.

Interview Details Well I received a call back a week after from the HR for a interview. The first interview was held by head cashier, the questions asked were: What brings you to sears? How you handle bad customers, good customer service, what can you bring to the team? then after that there is a second interview with the store manager, she also asked what bring you to sears? what can you bring if hired? what job experience do you have? and what do you expect from a manager?
