The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Spherion Staffing & Recruiting (Saint Louis, MO) in Mar 2008
Interview
Very quick interview process, they typically move very quickly. First there is a 30 minute face to face interview with the Director. He does bring up a lot of hesitations as to why he does not want to hire you and he expects you to debate thoe reasons. At the end of that interview, I was scheduled to come back for a job preview/shadow the next day. During the realistic job preview, I spent a couple of hours with a Senior Recruiter. I was also told not to dress up for the 2nd interview so that I would fit in better. My offer was made the following Monday and I started working there 1 week later.
When we interview candidates, we really care and take time to get to know candidates and share our knowledge of the local workforce with them whether or not we can help them.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Internally we always want to know short-term and long-term career goals. We always want to know what you consider your strengths and weankesses. And we always want to understand your full work history. And we want to know your "why." What is motivating you to get a job/this job and to get up and go to work everyday?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Spherion Staffing & Recruiting (Byron, GA) in Jun 2023
Interview
Interview process was meh. There were 3 interviews and the same questions were asked each time. First interview was virtual, second was in person, 3rd was in person also, just more people.
Pretty straightforward. Questions on how to prioritize, manage time, and communication. This role focuses on professionalism and working with a sense of urgency as many positions need filled quickly. You also need to make sure you’re accurate and are good at documenting your actions.
