Interview Details Campus Recruitment - After a pre placement talk, we were asked to make an account on their site. The site gives you an idea of what TCS will ask you in written exam. It gives you a fair idea of pattern of exam.
The recruitment process includes a written test( not applicable to certain high ranking students) followed by two rounds of interview - Technical and HR.

Written test - Easy aptitude questions but the questions are too long and will eat up your time. Don't go without solving TCS latest placement paper questions. You will find it very difficult to make up even if your aptitude is at the level of CAT.

Interview - Mostly your branch related questions, expect few questions from programming and networking concepts.

HR Round - Easy questions like your introduction, reasons why they should hire you etc.

Interview Details I had a campus interview at Lucknow University's - Department of Business Administration.
It was a pretty general interview more of a get to know you kinds. The were precisely lookig for communication and soft skills for the concerned position.

Negotiation Details – As it was a campus drive, hence there was very little scope for salary negotiations more so as I am an absolute fresher Management grad.

Interview Details ASEs are hired from tier2-3 colleges. Campus placements are usually done in 7th sem. Interview aims at finding boys and girls with right attitude to work and who are ready to learn. The process involves an online test that aims to check their English language and problem solving skills. The next is a f2f interview which basically checks that the interviewee has done some preparation, wants to have a job, and has studied something(or good in at least one subject). So, interview usually starts with 'tell us one of your favorite subjects in Engg' or if you are lucky: 'to explain your summer training/projects undertaken'. The interviewer might grill a little on various aspects but in fact, it is still at overview level - and is actually verifying whether you are able to explain yourself, you are able to understand him and give a sane answer.

Interview Question – It is unexpected to expect 'unexpected question'/creative question at this level. The most difficult could be if you are asked to prove that your summer training was actually useful.   Answer Question

Interview Details It was a series of phone interviews. The first one was performed by a manager (basic Unix questions). Second, by his friend, a Perl guru. I was really lucky that my Perl knowledge was fresh at the time and answered all his questions. The third was an HR interview (the HR guy kept talking about the amazing benefits package and at the end asked only one question, will I be happy with the salary they offer?). The final phone interview was a client manager interview. He only asked one question and then said one word "Congratulations!". There was no in person interview and I went on the company site to meet the office manager and the HR admin before making a decision.

Negotiation Details – It was a jump of 19K from my job at the time. Plus I had an opportunity to travel to NY for the summer. I did not bother negotiating.

Interview Details tcs will be conducting aan aptitude test. which is quite simple. one day preparation is enough. eventhough try more days. those who pass the aptitude test will be undergoing interviews.
two or three rounds will be there.
sometimes technical and hr interviews only.
dont bluff. if u dont know, say it frankly. know well about the company before going for an interview
