    I worked at Airbnb for less than a year

    Pros

    This would be the first review for Tampa location and I would like to set the tone by saying we are excited to be apart of the first wave. Many changes I see are actively happening with Airbnb, in the positive light. I really enjoy how this company is geared to positive customer service experience. The team I am currently working with is very positive! No one is the same, we are all unique and embrace each other's strengths and build on the weaknesses. Airbnb has done a FANTASTIC job allowing their employees to be themselves ( acceptance, and not judging). I will do an update Review in about three months.

    Cons

    Organization would probably be my only Con. This maybe followed by more as said above I will do a follow up review. I feel it is important for future employees in our Bay Area to get an honest opinion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    My advice to management is to take the time and get to know each employee a little more one on one. Yes, I understand this takes a little extra effort on your part but this gives you and the employee the opportunities to have a moment to basically show their personalities. Other than performing on the job. So many are judged just by watching but I have yet to see someone sit down and talk one on one . It is easy to talk with someone you can relate to , try speaking to someone you wouldn't normally speak with. This is my Challenge to management.
