Former Employee - Intern in Baton Rouge, LA (US)

I worked at Albemarle full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Felt a part of company culture, involved. Good networking events to meet employees in various departments to get a great idea of the company as a whole, not just your specific department. Fun activities to facilitate bonding and teamwork.

    Cons

Workload for interns is sparse. At times don't feel as if are accomplishing much.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

These internships are full time - prepare tasks for your interns to keep them busy for the 40 hour work week they must be there.
