Former Employee - Part Time Assistant Manager in Irving, TX (US)
Former Employee - Part Time Assistant Manager in Irving, TX (US)

I worked at Dollar Tree part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Really there are none except a very small pay check for a lot of work.

    Cons

Low pay, unreachable goals, not enough employees to cover shifts, every day the store would get totally trashed and the closers are expected to clean it and be out 30 after the store closed (which was near impossible), favoritism, and always lots of drama.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have the corporate pencil pushers actually come work in a store to see how it really works. Also provide more training before pushing new employees out on their own. Allow more hours for the closing shifts.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
