Good work place with a lot of room to grow!

Current Employee - Assistant Manager in Frederick, MD (US)
Current Employee - Assistant Manager in Frederick, MD (US)

I have been working at Domino's full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Flexible scheduling if properly staffed.
    - Generally the time moves fast, especially if only working a rush shift.
    - Co workers are generally fun to work with and fun to be around, however sometimes they are lazy.

    Cons

Unless you get into management, the pay is generally pretty low. My store pays $7.25 for CSR, $8-$9 for a shift runner, and generally you don't make over $10 unless in management.
There are zero breaks, which is horrible when you have an opening sift, when you are going to be on your feet for a minimum of 10 hours, and you don't get a break because apart from your drivers, you are the only person in the store during the day.
Very high turnover rate, we are constantly hiring, and are always short staffed.
There is a huge crunch for saving labor, and running positive numbers, which is stressful on shift runners because you have to cut people to save labor, which leaves a lot more work for you.
No free weekends! Friday and Saturdays are busy days and Sundays are also during football season.
Halloween is the busiest day of the year. Every employee is required to work Halloween, no exceptions, which is fine unless you have kids.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to listen to what your employees are saying to you, not just hear them. Whenever I g to my manager about a problem, he says he will take care of it, and then nothing gets done. Also they are extremely un contactable when they are not at work, at least my manager never answers the phone, or if he does, I'm told to just handle it, then get in trouble for running poor service.
