    I have been working at ExxonMobil full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Great company to have on CV, team wonderful and committed to providing top quality service to the company, lots of opportunities to work with staff located in different departments

    Cons

    'Us and them' culture between employees and contractors, health & safety focus on the wrong areas spending hours investigating paper cuts instead of focussing on breaches of the core safety competencies and why people aren't reporting losses or near losses, where there is a bad boss or head of department there is a head in the sand attitude - one department head is notorious throughout the company and the turnover in their department is large yet no-one in a position to address the problems have chosen to do so. On the work life balance side the company talk the talk yet it is extremely difficult to even discuss flexible working requests.

    Deal with the issues when they are brought to your attention. Properly consider flexible working requests
