    Global Redundancies Executed Quietly

Current Employee - Sales Manager in London, England
Current Employee - Sales Manager in London, England

I have been working at IHS full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Brand name in oil and gas sector

    Cons

IHS derives 40% of its income from the oil and gas sector, doing research and analysis of the sector.
The company has implemented redundancies around the world as the oil shock has really spooked the Energy side of the business and a hiring freeze has been put in place.
The layoffs are all done quietly and this company ought to be hung out to dry!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't be obsessed with your stock price. Think of the employees' welfare!

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
