    I have been working at Insperity full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good product and SOME really good co workers

    Cons

    So many angry sales people! In sales you will cold call and door knock so that you can help the sales people that have been there 5 plus years keep their job. You will be compared to them only to find out that they can only really close corporate referrals and their own client referrals. They will close something you bring once in a while, but about half of them will probably back out and it's a big secret until after they come back from the expensive trip. If you are not a DM's favorite, having and inappropriate relationship or have been there long term, you will struggle. If you are really good you can survive, but you will not be happy. Good sales people are competitive and want to feel like they are successful. Nothing is worse than realizing that the so called winners are not playing fair. The way things are being done cant possibly work for long.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Implement fair corporate referral distribution that considers territories.
    Personal relationships with subordinates should be strictly prohibited, especially when the manager is going to feed those subordinates corporate referrals.
    Always remember you are dealing with peoples lives. Even if we are indispensable sales people, we ALL have families to support. There is nothing more demotivating than being robbed of an opportunity because someone else is prettier, more popular or a manager's friend. Being a primary household provider and figuring out that the possibility of making money is slim to none is unacceptable! I would reconsider how some of these things are done. True professionals do not play high school games to get ahead.
