I worked at Mott MacDonald full-time for more than 3 years

Opportunity to work on world class projects and with a variety of professionals from diverse cultures. Decent salary reviews up to 2012.

Silo mentality dominant in most business units. Constant inner fights. Poor internal communications. Low staff morale and sense of belonging in most offices. Huge staff turnover. Highly hierarchical structure with top management progressing by age/friendship rather than merit. Extremely slow decision making processes. Lack of flexibility for employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Until the company will stay 'privately owned' there isn't much advice to be given since 'the few' will be still eating the whole pie and leave nothing but the breadcrumbs to 'the many'. Stop the haemorrhage of valuable staff: you're a people based business and staff should be your main asset.
