I worked at NetApp full-time (more than 10 years)Pros
Inter-team work and relationships has always been a strong point for NetApp. Teams worked effectively with others, and everyone tended to want to contribute. Organisation is relatively flat, so tends not to have very much bureaucracy. You will always have face time with senior leadership. Always opportunity to move within the organisation. Pay has always been excellentCons
Organisation has always been flat, and this has a tendency to stagnate. Leadership positions are few and openings are rare. Over 10 years of working at NetApp, it was far more likely to lateral to a different position than it was to advance within. Recent stop-loss problems are due to resources who are looking for more opportunities to advance in career and salary not found at NetApp
Leadership stagnation is also a problem.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Company values have suffered in recent years. Leadership rot within UK organisation has become an alarming issue.RecommendsNeutral OutlookApproves of CEO
