Believe in better is not something they apply to their staff

    I worked at Sky

    Pros

Good pension and benefits and company van

    Cons

They fail to take into account that people are capable of learning from their mistakes. Whilst on probation I breached health and safety on one occasion and I admit that I put my self at risk but no one else. My contract has been terminated and they did not take into account my 100% customer feedback. I can quite confidently say that I have learnt from my mistake and would never do this again but this means little to the managers. I guess probation has little to do with continuing professional development.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

We have evolved because we have been able to learn from our errors! Treat your staff like people not robots and they will feel valued and this will reflect on their customer relations.
