    I worked at Staples full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    built up my cv
    enabled me to work with customers which i love

    lies lies lies... thats all you get fed.
    when leaving a store to start a new store as they asked me to move there 5 times in one year i got promised a lot of false things. (also got made to say that they didnt ask me to work for them and that i applied online when in fact i didnt, they asked me to go there)
    The store i left under paid me by just over £500 and i told my new manager about this - he did nothing!
    was promised a 30 hour contract which hr sent me, to then find a week later my manager decided the store couldnt have it and they changed my contract to 16 hours.
    I was also promised a pay rise... never got it
    Every single holiday form i put in got declined and then other managers had holiday on the dates i requested.
    I got abuse from one of the managers via text messages when he found out i was leaving and he then tried to appologise as he "didnt want me to leave"
    I got upset and hurt by my time at staples and sadly wouldnt recommened people to work there.
    deffinately the worst place i have ever worked.
    Oh and lastly on my last day as i handed in my discount card and name badge, my manager went out the back to the warehouse and threw my name badge across the warehouse

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The store i just left is sad and the majority of staff are applying elsewhere as they arnt happy at all.
    Try to avoid "back hand barrys" as my manager called them when selling, (giving stuff away for free to get warrantys).
    Ensure managment treat the staff correctly
