    Pros

Real buy in to the Virgin mentality is at the heart of VMed. Great benefits including bonus scheme, cheap broadband services, holiday entitlement, Sharesave scheme.

    Cons

Work life balance is more difficult since the acquisition by LG Plc with reporting lines to the West Coast US and the Netherlands - time differences and US deadlines make it very difficult to do the job without working evenings & weekends.
Office is in Hook in Hampshire which is not the easiest commute.

    Advice to Management

Flexibility in roles is key to staff retention longer term. The new management team seem intent on stopping all home working, flexible working & use of part timers. This seems a very short term approach to staffing although very effective at losing long term loyal employees.
