About this Job:
As a member of our Financial Planning team, you will embrace technology, enjoy a collaborative environment, and hold in high regard serving clients in a fiduciary capacity. You will work in our financial planning department with other experienced financial planners, collaborating with financial advisors, to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support to the Financial Planning Department, conducting financial planning research and assisting in the preparation of customized comprehensive financial plans and portfolios for clients.
- Gain a thorough understanding of each client’s financial situation to help create and deliver suitable investment strategies.
- Coordinate client service needs with internal and external team members and provide support to the overall client experience.
- Stay abreast of significant changes or developments (e.g. taxation, regulatory, legal, competitive, and technical) within the fields of financial planning and investments.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of compliance, regulatory and departmental policies and procedures.
- Complete the necessary training and experience to obtain/maintain your CFP® certification.
Desired Skills and Experience:
· CFP designation preferred.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance and/or related major.
· A minimum of 2 years of financial planning and/or client relationship management experience.
· In-depth knowledge of key financial planning concepts.
· Experience with financial planning software such as eMoney.
· Strong demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
· Superior communication and relationship building skills.
· Proven ability to understand client objectives and risk tolerance
· Excellent time management and strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential issues.
· Strong work ethic, professional appearance and demeanor.
