I have been working at 3 Day Blinds full-time (more than 3 years)Pros
independent work environment, love interior design, can make great money occasionally. If you are new to interior designer it's a great place to get experience working with clients. If you are young you might not need as much money and financial stability.Cons
Not a stable income, some months are very low paychecks, if you make even just a few errors you are greatly punished financially - we are human we are going to make some errors! Always super stressed waiting to find out if I have an error - if I do - very small paycheck. Error affect your paycheck for up to three months. I can never make plans because I never know what my paycheck is going to be. There is no way to "move up" or improve your wages from year to year - all commission no salary. No paid time off. No sick time. No personal days with pay. I end up working all the time - at least a little on my days off because I get emails that MUST be responded to within 24 hours or I can be punished financially. Can never relax.Advice to ManagementAdvice

Getting an Interview
Getting an Interview
- Application Details
I applied online – interviewed at 3 Day Blinds in August 2014.Interview Details
Lots of back and forth with different people, mostly over the phone. Was offered the job. Filled out thirty plus pages of personal paperwork. Jumped through hoops to arrange for out of town training. Was advised different locations by different people.
Spoke with yet another "sales manager" and was advised to expect a 60 hour work week, in order to make the expected goals. I replied that I was expecting a 40 hour work week. A few minutes later I received a phone call revoking my job offer! One of the most unprofessional situations I've ever been in... They disrespect me and my time, before I even started to work there.
They said to ignore all the negative reviews here on glass door! My opinion, read the reviews, and run don't walk in the other direction.Interview Questions
