    Pros

Opened my eyes to how good it can be to go to work. Interesting projects, amazing people, opportunity to travel as many projects are multi-region. Cool work being done all the time. Decent perks such as free breakfasts, on-site gym, celebrations. Inspiring atmosphere, learning all the time. The company is going through a constant process of re-invention to make improvements.

    Cons

Not many negatives, but being a service industry need to be able to juggle expectations, deadlines and relationships.

    Advice to Management

Would be good to get more insights from management about expectations for career development.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeksinterviewed at AKQA (London, England) in August 2013.

    Interview

Professional, relatively fast (they needed a quick hire) one phone and two face-to-face interviews. A variety of topics, no particularly hard questions. Final interviews with more senior staff were relatively blunt, but to the point. I didn't tick all their boxes, but ticked enough to get an offer.
Different interviews covered different material, initial phone interview was very easy, just a chat and very basic technical details. Second interview was more related to project management and software development. Final interview more on managing process and people, and more advanced aspects of the SDLC.

    Interview Questions

    • Asked to explain Continuous Integration - something I have done, but I clammed up and couldn't find the words.   Answer Question
