I have been working at Broadcom full-time (more than 10 years)

The calibre of engineers is high. You can work with and learn from some good people. The work is interesting and sometimes demanding. Opportunities for promotion and growing responsibility exist, but can be limited in some teams. High performance is well rewarded. The office environment is friendly, casual and flexible.

No formal graduate training plan. Limited training or support if you can't match the capabilities of existing staff - depending on your manager it can be a sink or swim workspace. HR policies are inflexible.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lower and mid-level management are well regarded. The board have appeared to lack a consistent strategy.

    Interview Details

I applied this March and it took me less than 3 weeks to get the chance for interview. As I applied for embedded software engineer. Background questions are firstly asked. Then some projects on C.V.. Because the interviewer is familiar with this project and he asked lots of questions. Then, questions about the hardware and software are asked, which is quite specialized.

    Interview Questions
