    I have been working at Cirrus Logic full-time

    Pros

    Company culture is huge. The saying is "we play hard and work hard". There are lots of perks, happy hours, monthly concerts, kids Halloween, Christmas parties, fitness classes. The benefits are outstanding.

    Cons

    Culture is geared to attracting young employees. It is really tough to advance in this company if you are not part of the "in" culture.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Company needs more organization in general. Why throw resources into a deadline to meet it? Why not become more organized? Utilize the talent in the company. Cut down on the "culture" expenses and eliminate RIF's.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took a dayinterviewed at Cirrus Logic.

    Interview Details

    Interviewing for a Digital Design Engineer position. The interview consisted of both digital and analog questions and went way into detail for analog when that is not my specialty.

    • Asked to derive the equations for an RLC system. I'm not an analog guy for a reason.   View Answer
    Negotiation Details
    I was able to negotiate a 5% increase from the original offer. The final salary was over 20% increase in pay from current employer at the time.
