I worked at Citibank as an intern (more than an year)Pros
The best thing about working at Citibank are the extras which can be considered alongside a resonable salary. Every branch has a social committe who encourage employees to partake in a variety of social events. During my time there I enjoyed a range of activities which are subsidised by the firm; coctail making classes, bubble soccer, soccer team, summer barbecue, cycle tro work schemes, gym schemes, health schemes etc. The working environment itself is also social, usually focusing around team-based work.Cons
Can be long/stressful working hours. As a software engineer based in Production Support it was required to stay after hours should there be a production issue. With time-in-leiu or pay benefits only being offered in exceptional circumstances (10+ extra working hours per week). Due to large number of low-seniority employees, often found those deserving promotion being overlooked.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Consider reviewing pay benefits scheme for out of hours work and methods of promotion.RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO
