I grew tremendously while at Cooper Industries (now Eaton). They had solid upper management, and were well seasoned.

The ALP program touted that all participants would end up in GM positions. This was not the case. Rather, most participants ended up in product management type positions.

Spend more time understanding the challenges which exist in a lean workforce. More training would also go a long way.
