Current Employee - Production Engineer in Worcester, England

I have been working at Crown Holdings full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The position does have a good rate of pay for the job expectations, but not what I would class as a Production Engineer tbh.

    Cons

Don't like shift work, but that's my personal preference. Worcester plant gives the impression of a factory waiting to shut and just seeing out the last few years. Very little new business and little to no investment in facilities.

    Application Details

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at Crown Holdings in April 2013.

    Interview Details

Received a referral from an ex-co-worker and had an extended phone interview with an HR recruiter who had also worked for a mututal previous employer. The frustrating part was that the posted jobs were very narrow in their scope and the HR representtaive expressed his frustration on the ability of his organization to widen their parameters.
