I worked at HCL Technologies full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Challenging assignments, no micro-management by boss, on-the-job learning, empowerment at role level, world-class people programs, can expect to be given constructive feedback for improvement. High growth

    Cons

Not very process driven, hence quite chaotic; sometimes, it's a matter of 'who shouts loudest wins'. work life balance suffers at times. challenges associated with high growth

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Nurture a more inclusive culture given the diversity of the employee force. Be more relevant to the local communities in the countries of operation

    SAP Project/Programmer Manager Interview

    Anonymous Employee
    Anonymous Employee
    Application Details

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at HCL Technologies.

    Interview Details

Three stages. One with HR. Second with a Project/Programme Manager from HCL. Third was a face to face interview with Alex, one of the executives and another project/programme manager, I called his puppy.

    Interview Questions
    • They ask you too many questions as if you are being interrogated, as if you know nothing and they know nothing. Although they were making fun of other companies that they dress in suits and they are all about looks and HCL is more about "delivery", they came off as arrogant and too proud of themselves with their bad clothes ;)   Answer Question
    Reasons for Declining

Not interested in working with people who are arrogant and look down upon others. The puppy of Alex simply left another company, because he couldn't lift his sleeves up, so he came back to HCL....bunch of kids...
