    Honeywell Expands Scanning And Mobility Portfolio With Acquisition Of Datamax-O'Neil For $185 Million

    Honeywell today signed a definitive agreement to acquire Datamax-O'Neil, a global manufacturer of fixed and mobile printers used in a variety of retail, warehouse and distribution, and health care applications, for $185 million. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2015 subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory review.

    Honeywell announced its 2015 financial forecast with organic sales growth of approximately 4%, up 1 to 2% from reported 2014 guidance. The earnings growth is expected to be driven by sales growth and improvements in operational performance. The company also reaffirmed its 2014 earnings outlook with EPS of $5.50-$5.55 and confirmed that it is on track to achieving 2018 long-term targets.
