I have been working at New York Sports Club full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Most people are nice. Coworkers are kind and supportive. Fun and engaging when working with clients.

    Cons

Corporate takes 60-70% of your money if you are a personal trainer. They can fire anybody on the spot. Very unprofessional and threatening upper management. Benefits is almost nonexistent

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Go back to school and learn some managements kills. If that doesn't help then maybe parents just didn't raise the upper management in my branch correctly. The high turnover rate is probably because corporate force trainers to get a pointless ACE cert when somebody has a NASM or ACSM cert. It might be better if trainers were compensated for continuing education hours.
