    I worked at RateSpecial Interactive full-time (more than an year)


    Adequate training for a space that can seem initially overwhelming without prior experience.


    Terrible salary that doesn't meet the average (commission is a joke too). No room for advancement. A management that is unwilling to fix its own faults.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Management overall needs to learn how to grow up. The growth of the company is hindered by the lack of respect management gives to its employees and by the occasional outbursts by a "CEO" of the company. As well, gossip against other employees on a daily basis is supported by the company as managers are often the start of it. The company seems to follow the idea that good employees are made by breaking them down and building them back up again, when rather, a company should focus on the strengths of an employee and build from the get go. Glengarry Glen Ross tactics don't work when the overall outcome of pay is just poor and when there are better companies to work for.
