I worked at Rearden Commerce full-time (more than 3 years)Pros
At its heyday, lots of cool technical problems to solve. Had its upside financially. Great potential to build an amazing product that's useful to a lot of companies.
The platform and architecture teams had good technical challenges. Systems integration, message-oriented, SaaS, NoSql, you name it, the technology was used.Cons
Engineering leadership was a revolving chair which caused a lot of churn in direction and philosophy. Quite a lot of "science projects" rather than focussing on solving business problems.
No focus on product quality, which meant poor user experience for early adopters.Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEO

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks – interviewed at Rearden Commerce.Interview Details
2 interviews, very personable Director interviewing or, should I say, selling the dream. And that's what he did. I was not familiar with this company; had never heard of them so he spent more time selling me than I him. Unfortunately I bought in and wasted 6 months of my professional life on an opportunity that was not worthwhile. It was common for new training classes to start off with 20 and by the end of the first week on the floor have only a few left.Negotiation DetailsNo negotiationAccepted OfferAverage Interview
