    I worked at Syntel full-time (more than 3 years)


    Nice campus,
    Good Banking,Insurance,Automotive project


    Not good for laterals,
    No good compensation as compared to other companies..only few bugs for over time work
    No value of laterals.
    14-15 hours per day work even office time is 9 to 6
    HR management listen to only higher mgmt...No value for employee.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Should respect to there employee also.
    Should follow give & It takes two to tango...
    Higher Mgmt should support there employee....they are not for use & through
    Onsite team should be supported by there higher mgmt when needed.
    Managers should listen there employee & understand there problem.

    Application Details

    I applied through college or university. The process took a dayinterviewed at Syntel.

    Interview Details

    Recruited in pool campus. We had written test (verbal and analytical) followed by group discussion. After that was technical round and HR round.

    The written test was a little difficult. The group discussion topic was interesting. Technical round and HR round was easy. Got an offer within 2 weeks.

    Basic math and programming skills is enough to pass the test.
