I have been working at AT&T full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

At&t is always looking to promote from within. They give everyone a chance at being developed into a leader or a better sales person, which ever area you want to grow in. The money is ridiculous, you can make so much money with this company and its so easy.

    Cons

Customers. They have a tendency to blow things out of proportion. this job is a 9 hour day 5 days week and can be stressful. its easy to hit your numbers if you have basic sales experience, but it can be draining.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

always be on the same page with all management in the store.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good pay as well as great people to work with. You make lots of connections and yes job offers as well from your costumers who have a business (just politely decline them all). AT&T actually takes your feedback and improves for you, this does take a lot of time but the fact they listen means a lot. They give you weekly updates and trainings to keep you in the know how.

    Cons

No job changes more then this one. TONS of learning every other week. some costumers you really have to bite your tong around. No real consistency in schedule so plan your life one month ahead or you will miss a lot in your personal life

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give better schedules as well as some flexibility. It's near impossible to live life one month ahead.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

The company really invests in its employees. Employee resources (including career, leadership, HR, benefits) are readily available. Salary is very competitive compared to the industry and roles.

    Cons

Inconsistent managerial/leadership styles (newer directors need be trained much more vigorously and with purpose). Too many are very unfamiliar with employee guidelines and rules (including respecting one another). Folks leaving leadership for other opportunities and/or companies should be paid attention to.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Great corporate culture but need to be cognizant of employee/team feedback regarding leadership at the Director level. Though employee resources are readily available (leadership, career, managing, etc.), they are rarely utilized by new directors.
