    All about the looks

    Model (Former Employee)

ProsYou're surrounded by good looking people in an environment that can be pretty relaxed most of the time.

ConsA lot of the people are so focused on looks that people who aren't as attractive get made fun of by the models, last minute standardizing right before anyone important visits with lots of pressure from management.

Advice to Senior ManagementDivide up tasks earlier and make sure everyone stays on topic.

Good job for a college student.

Impact Lead (Former Employee) New York, NY (US)

ProsYou got to make your own schedule, the pay was decent, free clothes, meet a ton of really cool people. I really loved working in the flagship store. I'm still friends with people who I met there. The scheduling was excellent and you could give away or trade shifts. It wasn't difficult to get promoted to full -time if you worked hard and were knowledgeable.

ConsSome management could be mean. Some of the models acted entitled.

    Advice to Senior ManagementGreat experience.

Fun work environment with snobby people

Store Model (Former Employee) Columbus, OH (US)

ProsThe managers and models will love you... if you're beautiful and talk in a certain way. It's a high-energy work environment, but you don't every have to do anything that's too difficult. It's really fun to work and joke around with tons of attractive, young people. My work friends were super fun to go out with! Work was always a great self-esteem boost.

ConsManagers really talk down to customers if they don't fit with the culture of the store, and your coworkers can be extremely rude to customers as well.
Models who are less attractive generally get less priority with hours and roles in the store. You almost have to play dumb and vapid to do well.
The managers make the models do a lot of meaningless tasks. You are always required to look "busy."

Advice to Senior ManagementReevaluate priorities. A lot of customers get scared away by the rudeness and aggressive atmosphere of the store. A paying customer is a paying customer... no matter what they look or talk like.

Nice work for a summer during college

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsDiscount on clothes. Attractive co-workers. Reliable hours due to other people not showing up for their shifts.

ConsLoud music. The smell can also be overwhelming. Job is very repetitive and boring. Probably not a place you would want to work at for awhile.
