I have been working at Accountemps

    Pros

    1. got me a interview with a client company real quick( 2 days after my meeting with the recruiter).
    2. there are some online training courses

    Cons

    1. the staffing managers dont reply to my emails on time. One said he would call back me back the second he received my call but never actually returned my call.
    2. little time for you to consider wether to take the job or not.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please put more effort in training the staffing managers and really pay the contractors what they are worth.

    Salary is an issue

I have been working at Accountemps

    Pros

Working for Accountemps is great as far as the people being there to support you but the salary is insulting. In these poor economic times, people have no choice and I believe the temp agencies know it.

    Cons

Again, the compensation is actually insulting to me. I do believe people are being taken advantage of in these economic times. If you are offered something, anything, you have to take it.

I have been working at Accountemps as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

There is a lot of time off between jobs. If you are a student, you will have plenty of free time between contract assignments to do your homework without interruption.

    Cons

They take much to long, if at all of following through for confirmation to let you know if you have a job that they asked if you where interested filling.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please have a better follow through policy.

I have been working at Accountemps

    Pros

    None! None! None! None! None!

    Cons

Hello, the 80's want their wages back! A period of unemployment does not equate to low-ball hourly rates. Even worse, your recruiters justifying the low wage by taking cheap-shots at 28 yrs. of skills and experience. Paid less than a high school / college intern. I know what my client is paying Accountemps and they are making a ton of money off my back.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop exploiting the temporary contractors. And when I call off, don't contact my emergency contacts! This is the greediest agency I have ever worked for, and once I'm finished with this contract-- never again! Medical benefit is horrible.

I worked at Accountemps as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Made great effort to find me work.
Landed permanent position on second job placement.

    Cons

After finding me work, only called when they wanted inside info about client comp (like what we're they looking for in next temp they hired).
Told company I was working with, a complaint I specifically told them not to share.
Charged the company a lot of money and paid me crap.
Client company low balled me in salary because they knew temp agency wasn't paying me much.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have more concern for those working for you.
