Cons – Bad Management, Horrible at forecasting sales, resulted in massive lay offs and ultimately the company being acquired at a how price.
Pros – Pay was slightly better than average for industry, good morale among coworkers; HR used small perks to boast morale, money for equipment until financial difficulties, Many good people
Severance Package was good for a small biopharma company
Cons – Great financial risk means poor job stability, massive downsizing of Scientists to become virtual discovery,Very inconsistent standards for promotions and unlevel work load
spent money like Big Pharma, People skills and vision sometimes shockingly lacking
no notice of restructuring
Advice to Senior Management – Need to keep tighter control of expenses and salaries, Mostly lower paid employees were severed. Do you really need that much higher paid position overhead?
