    AlliedBarton was okay.

Security Officer (Former Employee) Clarksville, TN (US)

ProsI was able to work full-time while attending school full-time. They did a good job of working around my schedule.

ConsThe pay was low and there were few opportunities for advancement beyond supervisor.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire some of your management from within. At least let them get an interview.

    It was absolutely rewarding!

Security Officer/Receptionist (Former Employee) New York, NY (US)

ProsIt opened doors and introduced me to opportunities I would have never expected!
I met people that truly changed my life.

ConsI truly wish the pay rate would have been higher and that I was not committed to work every weekend. It also would have been nice if they would have offered a family health insurance plan,

Advice to Senior ManagementI think they should have prepared us to take our jobs to the next level. Perhaps train us for management as well.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Good Company, but Not Perfect

Public Safety Officer (Former Employee) Riverside, CA (US)

ProsAll of my co-workers at Riverside Community Hospital were really awesome. Account manager was fair and honest person.

ConsPay was not commensurate with the dangers in the work place. I was required to falsify my daily activity report on a daily basis. My shift would end at 6 am yet I was required to turn it in by 4 am so that my supervisor could leave early when his relief arrived. In the year I was there I almost never received any of my two 10 minute breaks per shift. I was only given my 30 minute lunch.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou should pay people who have dangerous assignments more money. You should also do background checks on people you make shift supervisors. Just because someone claims to have supervisory experience you shouldn't just assign them as a supervisor. Do your homework to see if they are lying.

    Harvard Square

Unarmed Private Security Officer (Current Employee) Cambridge, MA (US)

    ProsInteracting with people. Provides training.

Conscolleagues are less than reputable. Treated as a means to an end. Wages are low. Difficult to get your questions answered by HR. Managers are in it for themselves and couldn't care less about you. Sexist

Advice to Senior ManagementBe a little bit particular on whom you hire. Just because they passed a drug test, doesn't mean they are honorable.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
