Former Employee – worked at Amdocs full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Amdocs DVCI
----------------------
It used to be VERY good when I joined in 2007 [when it was under an Israeli CEO], used to get attractive bonuses, annual gifts, food with excellent quality, free conveyance. Once it comes under indian CEO.. it has gone worst... Less bonus, cheap/no annual gifts, food quality gone low and no free conveyance at all..
Good work life balance
No much pressure [not talking about infrastructure teams.. ;-)]
Amdocs APAC Melbourne
-------------------------------
Good work life balance
WFH facility [of course, It is quite common in developed countries]
Cons – Management [in all aspects like marketing, project and higher ] is not good enough, due to their bad decisions lot of good projects were gone out of Amdocs.
Now a days, Amdocs becomes a center for politics particularly in APAC Australia region for which Amdocs PAID a Big penalty by losing an esteemed global customer in APAC region. Here everything is Directors/Managers' wish to do anything including frustrate the customers with their stupid personal decisions which made entire unit was kept in trouble and everybody was laid off in inventory area. Senior management is just an Audience here for this region.
Advice to Senior Management – Change your mind set. Higher management should not blindly follow the manager/director's decisions. Understand the ground reality and try to listen people working 24X7 for company not managers/directors.

Current Employee – been working at Amdocs full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Great for those who are starting their career.
Gets to learn a lot of things technically and also professionally.
Good to work for 4-5 yrs.
Compensation is great.
Cons – Learning curve reduces exponential as you work more. You will do the same thing over and over again. And getting more and more responsibilities (but same or similar).
There is no opportunity to grow professional.
No Promotions (or almost none).
You reach a saturation point where you don't know what you are really good at in a global scenario.
You can never compete with anyone outside Amdocs, because you don't know anything else.
Advice to Senior Management – Advice to Senior Management – Listen to the needs of your developers.
Give them an opportunity to grow

Current Employee – been working at Amdocs full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Good benefits for the expats (except salary): free food, compensation for childcare, medical insurance, etc.
Cons – Salary could be better. The senior staff rarely have extra benefits... promotions are not fair and senior experienced people usually leave the company...
