    Pros

    I enjoy being out on the road on call outs while repairing equipment I can have a chat to the clients who are often lonely people.

    Cons

    We are always under pressure to meet targets which I feel compromises safety and efficency

    Communication is important and upper management try to pass on info but lower managers and supervisors do not

    I worked at ArjoHuntleigh full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    great before Arjo took over
     Huntleigh was very patient and safety oriented! alot of on going good training and a team that really looked out for their employees and and it was a great atmosphere!! decent work / life balance back then too!!!! all good until Arjo took over then it all changed.

    Cons

    Arjo management steps in and purchases Huntleigh and then rearranges how things get done, They changed procedures and began taking shortcuts in my territory.This left the ability to provide 100% clean, ready, tested and patient ready product impossible. Too many calls to properly address the issue. I stepped up after 4+ weeks of this and reported it to senior management ( after numerous attempts to resolve it with my immediate supervisor) it helped, I did the right thing I lost my job due to supervisor retaliation, but Arjo upper management did make changes . At least the patients got what what they should have gotten all along, Too bad at my expense by loosing my job.But I would not change a thing!!! THE PATIENTS COME FIRST.................

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be fair and get the mentality that the PATIENTS SAFETY is most important!! stop the shortcuts and be fair to those that report bad management and deal with it correctly! Terminating any employee for reporting safety and OSHA violations by bad management should not be tolerated!!

    Traveling and the caliber of clinical consultants

    poor leadership and management,. Complete disregard for work life balance.

    Growing company. Healthy company and their product is helping others.

    Company is getting too big and too many levels of management. The 'family' feel of the working environment is gone.

    Look at your legacy staff and keep them invested in decision making. Communication is key to working together.

    Pros

    Before the Merger we had a great group of guys. Constantly trying for self improvement and got respect from management.

    Cons

    After the KCI merger, the KCI managers showed disrespect to all the Arjo employees. Disregarded any products or processes that we had grown. Customers in my region complained about the new service and products. Manager was very unethical keeping money he should have turned into corporate, and telling his service center about injured employees in other service centers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get rid of KCI management and go back to the good thing we had.

    Pros

    My pay is good. Benefits are OK. Company car for personal use.

    Cons

    I once said on the best companies I worried for. That changed 4 years ago and got even worse with the recent KPI acquisition. While ArjoHuntleigh bought the TSS business from KPI, the company now seems to be run by KPI. Since the acquisition I only know of 1 legacy ArjoHuntleigh person that got promoted. Everything else is given to former KCI people.
    Management has no management skills. Is all about pushing to meet numbers, targets and quota. How you get there they don't care.
    No room for personal advancements. ArjoHuntleigh does not offer a careers just jobs.

    Most around me are actively looking for new jobs outside of ArjoHuntleigh.

    Start caring for your staff the way the old Arjo did.

    Pros

    Nothing anymore, It was a wonderful place to work. Management was fair and helpful. We were treated fairly and with respect.

    Cons

    This was a great place to work BEFORE KCI took over !!! The care that was given to the hospitals we serviced before the take over , was A+ That came to an end once KCI got in there. I heard complaintes from hospital staff everyday. it was sickining.
