    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Avon Products part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

This is one of the best learning experiences in business that I've ever had. It teaches you financial responsibility, and you will learn how to market your product.. Don't be fooled that this franchise does all the work for you, it does not. However, there is training and support available, as well as chances to meet with others. The products are no longer just beauty, they include fashion, home products, even a baby product line and all are of great value.

    Cons

This may be one of the few companies where door-to-door selling is still important to marketing the product.. This is a big and one of the oldest franchises and there are rules that you have to adhere to. There is not enough support for tax information.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would suggest referrals for tax information, or creating meetings with tax accountants.
