Former Employee – worked at Banco Itaú full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Good salary
Enough benefits
Good workplace
Nice coworkers
Proper training
I enjoyed work in Itau while the company was on its own, after the merge with Unibanco things got strange.
Cons – Too much politics
No right direction
Hard work doesn't mean recognition, politics yes.
The company went from a doer company to a show off company. No one cares if you deliver or not, only if you sell properly to your bosses and to the board.
Advice to Senior Management – You are loosing all the good workers, change directions soon... otherwise you will maintain only the lame workers.

Current Employee – been working at Banco Itaú full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – You can experience many situations and construct a large and diversified experience and relationships. A great field of Opportunities. They invest a lot on training people. You can study until you want with the support of the company.
Cons – The worst thing in the company is the fusion with Unibanco. People that came from Unibanco are not prepared enough to deal with people from Former Itaú, neither with the rising challenges that this company continue facing.
Advice to Senior Management – Look better to the high managers actions. They are pressuring more and more their teams and leaving no space for those who would grow and get better results for the company. The experienced employees are extremely necessary to train and prepare the young ones.

Pros – Management structure, capital strength, established company in its field, technology support, infrastructure resources, self development resources, strategy aligned to sustainability.
Cons – Its size favors a human resources mechanical management. Health care is pretty limited (not so good in quality terms), more when compared to co-participation.

Pros – Big company, great compensations, pays all of the extra hours of work, a big variety of opportunities, leader of the industry in Brazil, expanding to Latin America, always breaking profiting records.
